The Downtown Silver Spring Fine Art Festival returns on May 5th and 6th to Ellsworth Dr. in Downtown Silver Spring. Join us as the Silver Spring community hosts the nation's #86 ranked fine art festival. Residents and visitors will enjoy the unique opportunity to experience and purchase original, handcrafted artwork from among the top national and international artisans. Discover that perfect piece to beautify your home and office - and to enrich your life!
Over 10,000 pieces of extraordinary original art will be for sale by more than 100 award-winning artists. View magnificent creations by painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelers, digital artists, glass, fiber and ceramic artisans; also artwork in mixed-media, metal, and wood. Many of these internationally acclaimed artists are represented in major museums and prestigious private collections throughout the world.
For two days stroll the vibrant atmosphere of the shops and surroundings, caressed by warm spring breezes while enjoying an eclectic mix of dining and shopping. Marvel at the breathtaking artwork knowing each artisan was selected by a jury of fine art professionals for the quality and originality of their artwork. Artists are available throughout the event, providing you the unique opportunity to meet and interact with the talented creators of each piece, enriching your purchase.
The festival is directed by Paragon Art Events, the premier organizer of fine art festivals along the Atlantic seaboard. The art festival is Saturday May 5th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday May 6th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free with abundant free garage parking surrounding the Festival. The event also is conveniently located but a short walk from the Red Line Silver Spring Metro Station.
