This summer, the Blair Mansion is hosting a series of top-notch Friday night blues, jazz and funk concerts at its venue in Silver Spring from July 17th until October 29th. Concerts begin at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $15 to $50.

“We love the concert series because of the energy the performers bring to Blair Mansion,” says owner Ray Zeender. “From the minute the doors open until the last guest leaves, it’s obvious that these concerts are an all-around good time for all. It’s one of the most unique venues in the area for the hottest music!”

Shows this summer include:

·         Elmer Padgett on August 14th. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

·         The Blackbyrds on August 28th. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door.

·         The Spinners on September 4th with two shows at both 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $45 in advance or $50 at the door.

·         Jaared on September 25th. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

·         Shang on October 2nd. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.

·         Acoustic Alchemy Special Fund Raiser Concert on October 20th. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door.

·         WPG Trio Featuring Chuck Brown on Thursday, October 29th. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.                                                               

A limited number of comp tickets are available for reviewers with advance notice.

The Blair Mansion is a gem of history in Silver Spring, located on the border with Washington, D.C. The property’s history dates back to 1685.
