This murder mystery centers around a professional football team that has hastily called a press conference to announce (rumor has it) that the team is in the process of signing a long retired megastar quarterback turned rapper, to replace their current quarterback, Tony Aroma.

This would certainly be bad news not only to Tony but also to Tony’s wife, country singer, Jessica Slimkins, who is looking to launch her singing career using her husband’s notoriety as a platform. Add a slippery agent, Anita Deal and a disgruntled general manager, Jefferson Lee Calhoun, and you can easily sense that all may not be what it seems behind the scenes. Who knows, this announcement may trigger someone to take matters into their own hands to make sure that someone retires for good, and not just from the football field. Tonight you may actually get to see a “shooting star!”
