"Goldberg" Variations, BWV 988
Bach's brilliant "Goldberg" Variations are a delightful fête for solo harpsichord. Considered the most important set of variations from the baroque era, this work is a grand journey of 30 variations based on a beautiful yet humble aria from Book II of the Clavierbüchen für Anna Magdalena Bach. Joseph Gascho, winner of the 2002 Jurow International Harpsichord Competition, will perform the beloved masterwork.
