The Bach Sinfonia sings with strings! Under the baton of Dan Abraham, members of Silver Spring’s own classical music ensemble pay tribute to the genius of composer Josef Haydn, father of the string quartet. Performing exclusively on period instruments, Sinfonia’s string quartet presents a sampling of Haydn’s early and later quartet works, who wrote more than 80 quartets throughout his illustrious career. The Bach Sinfonia concert combines music and context to make concert going an enlightening experience!
