In honor of National Ice Cream Month, Pyramid Atlantic Community Arts Store and Moorenko’s Ice Cream will be hosting an Ice Cream Happy Hour at the new Pyramid Atlantic store in Downtown Silver Spring from 4 pm to 6 pm on Friday, July 18th. The store is located in Downtown Silver Spring at 924 Ellsworth Drive, Silver Spring, MD.
Other activities this week include live papermaking demonstrations and craft activities for children and youth.
The store showcases affordable prints and artist books, handmade paper, and the work of local painters, ceramicists, jewelers and as well as other artists and crafters. The store is a great place to discover local artists and find unique gifts for friends and family.
Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit contemporary arts center located in the Arts & Entertainment District in downtown Silver Spring. Pyramid’s mission is to promote and nurture artistic excellence through programming in the artistic mediums of paper, printmaking, book arts and digital media.
Store days and hours will be as follows: Thursdays - 12 – 8 pm, Fridays - 12 – 7 pm and Saturdays - 10 am to 7 pm
