Drawn to Washington

October 1 – November 20, 2008: Pyramid Atlantic and The Washington Print Club are pleased to present Drawn to Washington: A Juried Exhibition Celebrating the Work of Mid-Atlantic Printmakers. The juror is Shelly Langdale, Associate Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The exhibition will feature the work of thirty-one printmakers from the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia in Pyramid Atlantic Art Center’s gallery located at 8230 Georgia Avenue in Downtown Silver Spring, MD. The Washington Print Club Purchase Award will be selected by Katherine Blood, Curator of Fine Prints for the Library of Congress and will enter the permanent collection of the Library of Congress. The winner will be announced at the opening reception on October 4, 2008. The opening reception will also feature a talk by the juror, Shelley Langdale.
