Gateway's Heliport Gallery PRESENTS
An Exquisite Corpse Poetry Reading
Gateway's Heliport Gallery presents poetry-with-art on Tuesday, July 29, 2008—featuring poets Karren L. Alenier, Christopher Conlon and JoAnne Growney reading from their work as part of Le Cadavre Equis exhibition. The Gallery will open at 7 pm with the start of reading at 7:30. Following the featured readers will be an open mic—inviting work on the Exquisite Corpse themes of body parts and surrealism and the game of putting together disparate parts. Open mic readers may read from their own work or the work of some other favorite poet. Gateway's Heliport Gallery is located at 8001 Kennett Street, Suite 3, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. The program is free and open to the public.

He teaches at the Nora School in Silver Spring, where he also hosts a popular quarterly reading series.
