The Knockout Kings [Los Reyes del K.O.] have been playing together since 1993whenthey were boys in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. They played almost every blues festival in Spain, sharing the stage with such legends as Chuck Berry, JohnnyWinter, Buddy Guy, Solomon Burke, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Mayall, and more. In theirblues, which goes from traditional to modern electric, one finds funky beats, soul and even Spanish roots, like their version of "La Paloma." The Knockout Kings are recipients of the Berlin Blues & Jazz Award. They are joined by perennial Silver Spring bluesmaster, Bruce Ewan.
