Our major production for the year at Round House Theatre Silver Spring, Paul Sills’ Story Theatre is based on Grimm’s Fairy Tales and Aesop’s Fables. With an ensemble of 16 actors, with and without disabilities, we will create a production concept using Viola Spolin’s improvisational techniques and theatre games. As an example, these stories could be told as if the television came to life involving current media figures, or as if patients and staff of an isolated 1940’s hospital ward face some sort of catalyst which causes them to begin telling each other stories.
