A developer has proposed the adaptive reuse of the buildings designed by Arthur Heaton on Georgia Avenue in South Silver Spring. The 1.88 - acre site is zoned CBD-1/South Silver Spring Overlay Zone. It was placed on the Locational Atlas and Index of Historic Sites in 2005.
