You may remember this open metal piece from its orginal location outside the old parking garage which is no longer at the corner of Fenton Street and Ellsworth Drive now Veterans Plaza.  It currently graces the corner of Fenton Street and Burlington Avenue.  This colorful 20-foot high sculpture provides  a punctuated transition from architecturally urban spaces to tranquil residential corridors it is composed of a steel, yellow, triangular shape; a red vertical componetn; and balanced by a blue-green, diagonal element.  The three are welded together with delicately refined seams, juxtaposing industry with intimacy.

Commissioned by Montgomery County February, 1992, installed August, 1992, moved in 2004. 

Painted steel plate and milled steel.
