The new Silver Spring Library that is currently under design will be 63,000 square feet in area, almost four times bigger than the current Silver Spring Library. The Library project will include an Arts Center (Pyramid Atlantic) with a Gallery and Community Arts Store and County Office space. The building is being designed to allow for a station for the Purple Line transit project to be on the site. Parking will be provided in the Wayne Avenue Garage across the street from the Library.
