Pyramid Atlantic: A Community Arts Store

We have moved back to our original location on Ellsworth.

Pyramid Atlantic: A Community Arts Store will showcase affordable prints and artist books, handmade paper, and the work of local painters, ceramicists, jewelers and as well as other artists and crafters. Profits from sales at the store will benefit local artists and the arts programs at Pyramid Atlantic. 

"You will be able to get things here you won't find anywhere else," says Jose Dominguez, Executive Director of Pyramid Atlantic Arts Center. “More and more, visitors to downtown Silver Spring are looking for a broad experience, for things that are unusual or offbeat. Shopping is more sophisticated now and we are glad to be here."

The space is a unique partnership with Peterson Management, the company that manages the successful downtown Silver Spring outdoor town center. The store will be managed by Ms. Christine Derderian, a veteran of the non-profit retail community with extensive experience in retail development for non-profits. Store activities will include wine tastings, arts activities for children, and demonstrations.

New store days and times will be
Wednesday - Friday – Noon to 6 pm,
Saturday – 10  - 8 pm,
Sundays 12 – 4 pm.
