Stephen T. Hanks

Mr. Hanks has been a professional artist, commercial illustrator, and art teacher for over 30 years, producing both watercolors and drawings for publication, exhibition, and sale. His work varies between abstract expressionism, fantastic figurative imagery, to realistic wildlife and cityscapes. He has exhibited in museums, public exhibitions, and galleries in San Francisco, Denver, Palo Alto CA, London UK, Woodstock NY, the Easton Waterfowl Festival, Washington DC, and other art shows nationwide. Much of his work is on display in his private gallery in Silver Spring with viewing by appointment (call 301-588-2326). He teaches private classes in his studio and is an art teacher at Gonzaga College High School in DC.
