FLOWER AVENUE TRAFFIC CALMING UPDATE 

"New traffic calming measures being installed on Franklin Avenue in Silver Spring...  onstruction has been completed on the traffic calming project along Franklin Avenue, from Colesville Road to Flower Avenue.  This project was done in connection with the scheduled resurfacing of Franklin Avenue and includes pedestrian refuge islands and bump-outs.  Installation of the final pavement markings and new crosswalks should be done by the end of August, weather permitting.
