Ride On Launches "Ride On Real Time"

Today County Executive Isiah Leggett announced "Ride On Real Time."  This news system  provides passengers with real time information on when they can expect a bus to arrive at a particular stop. [There are still a few bus stops that cannot be accessed by Real Time, but they will be added soon.] 

Last year, Ride On added a unique identification number to each of the signs at the county's 4,800 bus stops. The ID numbers are used by the real time system to pinpoint a passenger's location and give arriving bus times at that stop. 

Passengers can access real time information using the Internet via computer, using a web-enabled device or phone at www.RideOnRealTime.com, texting the bus stop ID number to bus@rideonrealtime.com or using the Ride On Real Time app.
