Nominations are now being accepted for the Neal Potter Path of Achievement Award and the Montgomery Serves Award. These awards honor some of our County’s most outstanding community leaders and dedicated volunteers. “Montgomery County is the very special place it is today in large part because many extraordinary public citizens work every day to make it special,” Leggett said in encouraging residents to submit award nominations of individuals, businesses, and community groups. ... ABOUT THE AWARDS: NEAL POTTER PATH OF ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - This award honors two resident’s age 60 & better for their lifetime of volunteer service to Montgomery County. MONTGOMERY SERVES AWARDS - These awards recognize special volunteer accomplishments in 2014 in four categories: Community Service Award — Individual; Community Service Award — Group; Business Service Award; Youth Service Award — Individuals or Groups. Deadline for nominations is Friday, February 27, 2015.
